Our ribeyes are naturally rich in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, giving each steak a deep colour and robust flavour. Expertly aged to perfection and cut to a generous portion, they produce a juicy, melt-in-the-mouth experience that will satisfy even the most discerning steak lover.

Perfect for steak nights, special occasions, or indulgent meals, these ribeye steaks showcase the best of Irish grass-fed beef. Serve simply with sea salt, cracked black pepper, or your favourite herb butter for a restaurant-quality meal at home - the iDevour way.

Pan Fried Recipe

Carefully follow these instructions to cook your ribeye steaks.

  1. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before cooking, to make sure they’re at room temperature
  2. Pat dry with kitchen paper
  3. Coat plentifully with course sea salt
  4. Add a small dollop of idevour tallow pan

Then to cook...

  1. Use a griddle or heavy based frying pan large enough to hold the meat and preheat on high, until the pan sizzles when you add a drop of oil.
  2. Now add a small piece of idevour tallow and allow it to melt.
  3. Set your steak into the pan for 2 minutes on each side (4 minutes in total).
  4. Reduce the temperature to a medium heat.
  5. Add some butter on top and cook for a further 3 minutes, flipping your meat half way.
  6. Rest your steak for 5 minutes before serving and the meat will relax and absorb the juices to give you a tender, juicy steak.

This is only a rough guide. In real life we would use an instant read thermometer and cook until the internal temperature is 53-55℃, before the rest period, for a medium rare finish.
